I really love what Taylor said in the above picture. It's definetly something to think about. I also love this quote from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix that kinda popped out at me and has been sticking in the back of my mind, it says, “Indifference and neglect often do much more damage than outright dislike.” To me that means that even though you may not be the one doing the bullying or saying the hurtful words, doesn't mean that standing to the side and letting it happen makes it any better or hurt any less. In fact, it often hurts more to see others standing and watching but not doing anything. It makes people feel like they aren't worth the effort or the time. It sucks, trust me, I used to get bullied all the time, but now I avoid those people and try to help and stand up for the ones that do get picked on. It's not always the most noticed thing, it could just be seeing someone get knocked into or hearing a few hateful words being whispered to them, but hearing someone ask them if they're okay and actually mean it means so much! I challenge you to help out someone that is in these situations, that's being bullied, that's quietly screaming out for help as everyone watches from the sidelines. Please. Help them.

Everybody talks about having courage or being brave but honestly? What's that mean? Everyone has their own definition. I think Taylor Swift said it best when she said, "Fearless is not the absence of fear. It's not being completely unafraid. To me, fearless is having fears. Fearless is having doubts. Lots of them. To me, fearless is living in spite of those things that scare you to death." In a way she also described being courageous. Living despite your fears, and she's not talking about being alive with your heart beating and your lungs breathing, but living and loving and fearing but doing something despite that fear. That's what she's talking about, that's what I'm talking about. So I dare you this week to do something that scares you, no matter how big or small, just do it.
